This Website

Throughout my university experience, backend web development was used to teach basic software development concepts. Through this, I gained a multitude of skills around .NET, C#, and interface design. This has helped immensely when learning real-time 3D tools like Unity and has given me a great foundation for approaching the infrastructure problem solving concepts such as database architecture and the more artistic concepts such as interface design that will go into making powerful virtual reality solutions.

This website began with the simple intention of being a portfolio website, then became an example of my skills itself, then finally becoming a declaration to the world and a jumping off point for pursuing my future career goals and dreams. It was meant for showing my accolades but become one of them itself.

Using industry frameworks and tools such as Bootstrap, Popper, jQuery, or React would have been great to show off my skills at using them, but in the end I decided to make my website from scratch without any of those tools. I did this to show my ability to independently take an idea from inception to completion. It will show how dedicated I am and how I can make the best out of what I have been given.

In this website, I made everything including all of the:

• JavaScript and functionality
• accessibility integration
• text and formatting

The only things that I didn't make myself are some of the image assets which I got from royalty-free image sources Pexels, Unsplash, and Pixabay.

This website is compliant with W3 validation services for HTML and CSS.

There are many issues with this website I wish to fix and things to improve. It’s far from perfect but I'm proud of the work I put into it. I can't let perfection get in the way of completion.
